We get excited thinking about new and interesting ways to become more involved with our non-profit and community partners. Each year our Community Crew recruits provide valuable in-kind support for dozens of family friendly community events and non-profit initiatives in our island communities.

Make a Difference Days

Island Savings staff give back through Make A Difference Days

In 2015 Island Savings employees traded their suits and skirts for jeans and boots for our inaugural Make A Difference Days campaign. In total over 162 shifts were provided with more than 600 hours of volunteer support towards the good work of twenty different community agencies.

Island Savings Sport Start Grant Provides Recreation Funding for Youth

Since 2013 Island Savings SportStart Grant has provided more than 3,000 Greater Victoria youth with the opportunity to participate in PISE recreational programming.

GIFT Jeans Day

GIFT Jeans Day raise funds for island families

On the last Friday of each month Island Savings staff help to raise funds for charity through our “GIFT Jeans Day” events. In 2015 our staff raised just over $11,000 for 16 different non-profit agencies whose programming is helping to improve the quality of life for island children, youth and their families.
