This year, we have even more opportunities to show our Simple Generosity and give our neighbours opportunities to thrive. Find out how you can be part of making a million-dollar difference.
Simple Generosity began in recognition of Canada 150 – Island Savings celebrated community leadership across BC by recognizing local volunteers, non-profit organizations and charities that are making meaningful contributions in our communities.
We were so inspired by the amazing stories that we are continuing to spread Simple Generosity in our communities and celebrating community leadership, volunteerism and simple ideas that help create a future where everyone can flourish!
We're gifting $500 #SimpleGenerosity neighbourhood grants to individuals to support local grassroots ideas, events and initiatives focused on building stronger and more connected communities.
In 2021, that's exactly what happened when a team of people from across First West came together with our local BC communities to provide a record-breaking amount of Simple Generosity. Click play to see how it went.
