How to apply
Island Savings accepts applications from community groups and organizations with initiatives that help to improve families’ quality of life and build strong communities within regions with an Island Savings presence. Click here for examples of the types of initiatives our GIFT program supports.
Requests for financial assistance are reviewed annually by our GIFT committees. Applications are due March 20, 2015. Please drop off or mail your application to the Island Savings in the community closest to where the requested support would be delivered. Please do not forward multiple copies of your application to different Island Savings locations.
Applications for in-kind support are accepted year-round and can be emailed to Chris Waddell at CWaddell@islandsavings.ca or dropped off at any Island Savings location attn: Community Relations Specialist.
Due to high demand, and the time required to coordinate our volunteer services, it is recommended that applications be submitted a minimum of 6-8 weeks in advance of your community event.
Applications are accepted year-round.
